Born in Bath, he was the son of the late Bernard and Lucille (Brewer) Hosmer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1974-1998. Lloyd worked as a custodian at the Mercy Health and Rehab center in Auburn. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife, Nancy (Lauckarn) Hosmer; children, Robert (Jackie) Hosmer of Oswego, Tammy Hosmer of Clifton Spring, NY; Rebeka Hosmer of Wolcott; Lisa Gonyue of Phoenix; Mellisa Hosmer of Westbury, NY; siblings, Donald, Bernard, Steve, Edward, Jerry, Betty, Joyce, and Gladys; 18 Grandchildren;
