Write a commentThe Oswego Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC) welcomes everyone to its free will dinner on Sunday, September 7 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. or until gone.
The menu includes pulled pork, roasted potatoes, corn, cupcakes and beverage.
The eat-in dinner will be served upstairs due to preparing for the Nu 2 U Sale. Donations will be accepted, but never expected. The free will dinners usually occur the first Sunday of each month starting at 4:30. The October 5 dinner will include ham, mashed potatoes, applesauce, peas, cake and beverage and will be served downstairs.
The Trinity UMC Nu 2 U and Bake Sale is planned for September 12, 13 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a wide variety of items for sale; something for everyone, including delicious homemade baked goods. The Clothing Bag Sale (half-price sale on most other items) starts at 9 a.m. on September 20.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Human Concerns Food Pantry.
Anyone wishing to donate may bring the items to the church beginning September 8 until September 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, or call the church for arrangements on a different day or time. Please use the East Utica entrance as the sale is downstairs.
The church is located at 45 East Utica Street, corner of East 4th and Utica, Oswego.
