Oswego Rotary President Sue Witmer was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow recently. Paul Scott, District 7150 Rotary Foundation Chair presented Witmer with her PHF pin and certificate. Rotarians or members of the community who are not Rotarians may be honored as Paul Harris Fellows for contributions to The Rotary Foundation. Mr. Scott spoke about The Rotary Foundation which is the charitable arm of Rotary. The Foundation transforms gifts in to projects that change lives around the world such as literacy, clean water and eradicating polio. Scott is a former Oswego Rotary member and is currently involved with the Baldwinsville club as well as District level responsibilities. Also present was Marv Joslyn, Assistant District Governor for Area 5 which encompasses Oswego, Fulton, Baldwinsville and Cato.
