Write a commentLorena J. Sova, 88 a lifetime resident of Oswego passed away Wednesday, September 14, at St. Luke Health Services.
She was born in Hannibal on July 28, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Leon and Edna Drice Holsapple.
Mrs. Sova is the wife of the late Francis C. Sova who died in April 1991.
She had been employed for many years as a Special Deputy with the Oswego County Sheriffs Office.
She is survived by two sons David L. Sova of Oklahoma, U.S. Army (Retired) Colonel Robert J. Sova of Arizona, one sister Nancy Crego of Florida, one brother Leon Holsapple of Fulton, 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Debbie Sova and two sons, Edward Sova and Francis C. Sova Jr., and one sister Arlene Muckey.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 21 September, 2022 from 4-6 PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 22, at 9:00AM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Burial will be Thursday at Fairdale Cemetery following the service.
