
Lorraine S. Schriber, 83, of Clay, died March 15, 2016, at her home.
Lorraine was born and raised in Lake Placid, N.Y. She retired from Modern Pictures (Educational Film Library in St. Louis, M.O.) after twenty years of service as a Supervisor. She is a member and past choir member of St. Mary’s Church in Oswego, N.Y. She is also a member of the Oswego Columbiettes #227.
Lorraine is predeceased by a son, Daryl Woodard in 1952 and a daughter, Darlene Woodard in 2011. She is also predeceased by her parents, Lloyd O. and Hazel (Ward) Haig. A sister, June Chisholm, and brothers, Dan and Lloyd H. Haig.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Mike) Hanas of West Monroe, N.Y. and sons, David Woodard (Sheila Zwilling) of St. Clair, MO; and Dan Woodard (Colleen) of Rocky Mountain, N.C. She is also survived by a sister, Betty (Ed) Dunham of St. Louis, M.O. and two brothers, William Haig of Jay, N.Y. and Robert Haig from Australia.
She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 31, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Oswego, N.Y. Burial will follow in Snow’s Cemetery in Pulaski, N.Y. There will be no calling hours.
