Born in Czudex, Poland, she was the eldest child of the late Walter and Frances (Golub) Izyk.
Louise moved to Oswego with her family as a young child and attended Oswego City Schools. She married her husband, of 40 years, Bill Baldwin and in 1964 they relocated to Michigan. Louise was a loving wife and homemaker. After her husband died in 2004, Louise moved back to Oswego.
Louise is survived by her sister Loretta (Clyde) Keck of Fulton and brother Peter (Jacqueline) Izyk of Oswego. She also leaves behind two nephews William M. Keck (Natasha) of Florida and Scott Izyk (Jessica) of Albany, and her great-nephews Conley (Brianna) Keck, Alexander Keck, and Cole Izyk.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 2-4 pm with a service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street, Oswego. Burial will be held in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Flat Rock Michigan. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
