
Louise M. Cloonan, 83, a resident of Oswego, passed away May 9, 2015 at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Violet (Lawler) Becksted, and widow of the late Robert J. Cloonan. Louise worked as a manager for the SUNY Oswego Auxiliary Service for over 20 years. She loved animals, especially her beloved dog, Billie Jean. She enjoyed line dancing, bunko, and working in the garden and was a member of the Columbiettes of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving is her sister, Elise Becksted; nieces, Valerie Favata, Jolene Buske, and Bridget Murray; great niece, Amy Schultzkie; great-great nephews, Dylon and Tanner Schultzkie; and several cousins.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, George, Harold, Karl, and Fred Becksted.
Services will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at St. Peter's Church. Entombment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, All-Saints Mausoleum.
