Write a commentLulu May Preston, a longtime resident of Scriba passed away April 12, 2016 in Merritt Island, Florida.
She was born October 25th 1913 in Barberton Ohio and was the daughter of the late Amos and Ada Flickinger Wilson.
Mrs. Preston was the wife of the late Lyle Preston.
She had been employed for many years at the Breneman Hartshorn Factory in Oswego.
While in Oswego she was an active member of the Scriba Corners Baptist Church and North Scriba Baptist Church.
Although Mrs. Preston never had children, she treated the children in the neighborhood and church like they were her own.
She is survived by one sister Doris Stevens of Oswego, one brother Warren Wilson of Virginia Beach, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and her caregiver in Florida.
Services will be 11:00AM June 25, 2016 at the Scriba Baptist Church, where a reception will be held following burial services in North Scriba Cemetery.
