Write a commentMarcella T. Gibson, 72 of Oswego passed away Saturday morning at St. Luke Health services, Inc.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Corrine Whitney Paternoster.
Marcella had been employed for many years as a driver with the Golden Sun Bus Company.
She had been married to her husband John F. Gibson, Jr. for over 52 years.
Mrs. Gibson was a member of the Oswego Elk’s Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Theresa Gibson, two sons, Charles Gibson and John F. Gibson, III all of Oswego, three brother, William Paternoster of Fulton, John (Jean) Paternoster of Oswego, Robert (Bettyjo) Paternoster of Oswego, one sister Laura ( Jerry) Burnett of Fulton, three grandchildren, Morgan Phelps, Dillon Gibson and Brandon Beshures, on great grandchild, Ian Moody and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, September 14, from 2-5PM followed by a service at 5PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home,
