She was born in Astoria, NY and she had been a resident of Sterling, NY for the last 13 years. Mrs. McHenry was a devoted wife and mother.
She was a past Girl Scouts’ Assistant Leader for several years, member of a Quilter’s Guild, and the Fair Haven American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary.
Mrs. McHenry had been an active communicant with St. Jude Catholic Church, Fair Haven, Blessed Trinity Church, Wolcott, NY; and St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Red Creek, NY.
She was pre-deceased by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Ruf and her brother.
Mrs. McHenry is survived by her husband of 60 years William McHenry of Sterling, NY and their 4 children: Patricia McHenry of PA, David (Rhonda) McHenry of MD, Sheila (Steven) Hosnander of MA, and Dianne (James) Grivner of PA, and 5 grandchildren: Michael, Steven J., Sarah, David W., and Abigail.
Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately.
