Write a commentMary B. Smith,92, a resident of Oswego passed away peacefully on October 30 at the Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Brockport N.Y., she was a daughter of the late William and Ella (Hickey) Cottom and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and playing bingo.
Surviving are her son, Ralph (Anna) Smith of Oswego, three daughters, Linda (David) Cianfarano of South Carolina, Debbie Smith of Florida, Denise (Charles) Smith of Oswego, a sister, Theresa Vescio of Oswego, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Smith Sr. in 2006, 2 sisters, Sadie Mueller and Margaret Woods and her brother, William "Bud" Cottom.
Funeral services will be private and at the conveniences of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
