Mary E. Riehle, 70, a former resident of Mexico, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the Oswego Hospital.

Mary was born in Syracuse, NY the daughter of the late George and Rebecca (Johnson) Culp.

She was a well-known cook in the area, and had worked at several restaurants, including Daddy Ed’s, The Country Inn, The Easy Truck Stop, and The Grist Mill. She had also been employed at McAuliffe Paper in Liverpool.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph (Eleni) Riehle of Conway, South Carolina, Shawn (Katrina) Riehle of Binghamton, and Michael Riehle of Mexico; a daughter, Mandy (Harry) Dorr of Oswego; two brothers, Charles (Michelle) Culp of Prospect, Kentucky, and George (Sharon) Culp of Liverpool; three sisters, Dolly (Walter) Recore of Palermo, Debbie Cheeks of Syracuse, and Clara (Charles) Corona of Liverpool; nine grandchildren, Zachery, Rebecca, Alicia, Emily, Taylor, Leah, Dalton, Harry, and Darian; six great-grandchildren, Briella, Noah, Jackson, Nova, Abby, and Zoey; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Vivian Locorini, and Ruth Brant.

Services will be private.

There are no calling hours.

Contributions in her memory can be made to the American Stroke Association.

Arrangements are in the care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
