On Easter Sunday April 5, 2015, Maryanne Penfield, 73, passed away at Home with her loving family by her side.
Born Easter Sunday April 5, 1942 in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Laura (McGrath) Walker. She retired from St. Luke's Nursing Home. Then continued to display her art of caring by providing care privately which she took great pride in.
She is survived by her Brother Lee B. Walker, Sr. of Oswego. Three Sons: Larry (Margie) Dunsmore of Oswego, Scott Dunsmore of Oswego, David, (Lenny) Robbins, Cary, NC. Two Daughters: Vicki (Jeff) Nelson of Oswego, Cathi (Paul) West of Oswego, Five Grandchildren: Jessica Dunsmore of Oswego, Matthew Dunsmore of Plattsburgh, Nicci Nelson of Liverpool, Scotty Dunsmore of Emmitsburg, MD, Allie Dunsmore of Sparks, NV. One Great Grandchild: Caden Burkhart of Oswego. Several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces andnephews. Her "Girls" cats Elly and Bailey.
She was predeceased by her Husband's: Larry Dunsmore Sr., Edward Penfield. Brothers:Louis (Mike) Walker, Frederick Walker, James Walker. Sister's: Delores Cirbus, Lois Hall. Two Grandchildren: Jaison Nelson, Derek Dunsmore.
Maryanne will be remembered for her love of life, the love of her family, her love of Oswego. She also enjoyed sitting at the Lake, taking walks around the Fort. Also, she was an avid reader.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Carlos Dator and his Office manager Johnny for all of their compassion, support and dedication making our Mothers final days more comfortable.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 9, 2015, 4 -7PM Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7PM. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
