
Michael A. Visco, 52, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday November 7, 2016 at Upstate University Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mike was born on March 29, 1964 in Syracuse, NY, the son of Michael and Doris (Stenner) Visco, of Syracuse.
Mike graduated from P.V. Moore High School in 1982 and Onondaga Community College in 1984 with an Associate Degree in Graphic Arts.
He retired as a cable splicer for National Grid in 2015 after 30 years.
Mike was a devoted husband and loving father. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and taking long walks with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Bella. Mike was a talented craftsman and artist making handcrafted knives, carvings and drawing pictures for his wife and children.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years Barbara (Malone), three sons, Michael (Natasha Waloven), twins Nicholas and Johnathan, his parents, one brother, Tony (Maria) Visco, of Bridgeport, one sister Rose Visco, of Syracuse, and three nieces, Tessa and Grace Visco and Sami Eddy.
He will be greatly missed forever by his friends and family.
A mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Christ of Our Light Church, 23 Niagara Street in Pulaski.
