Write a commentMichael Brown and Ross Belfiore (Fulton Rotary Club) were recent guests at Oswego Rotary. Mr. Brown and Mr. Belfiore are partners in the Michael E. Brown Funeral Home in Cazenovia NY.
Michael, a graduate of Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, has been affiliated with several local funeral homes in the CNY area prior to purchasing the facility in August 2015. Additionally, Mr. Brown works as a trade embalmer for several area funeral homes.
Ross, co-owner and business manager for the funeral home, has over 40 years experience in the funeral business as a licensed cosmetologist along with other skills that are part of his resume. Ross has a business background and is a New York State Retired Teacher with 25 years experience as a vocational educator and administrator.
Their program spoke about the funeral process in general, preparing someone after death, funeral protocol and suggestions and the embalming process. The gentlemen will make a return visit soon to discuss the pre-planning process for funerals.
