Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, She was the daughter of Ignacio and Bernardina (Mercado) Rosario and had attended schools in New Jersey.
She was employed with SUNY Oswego for ten years and was an avid walker.
Surviving are her husband and best friend of twenty-five years, Jose Del Valle, her son, Jose Mendez, brothers and sisters, Ignacio Rosario, Evelyn Antonetty, Cindy Antonetty, Luis Angel Rosario, Jorge Rosario,, Virginia Rosario, Cristal Rosario, Angie Rosario, grandchildren, Antonio Mendez, Andre Angel Mendez, Kamala Mendez, Ezennaya Mendez, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Antonio Mendez.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
