Folk-rock singer Carsie Blanton's latest album is entitled After The Revolution.
She has been touring the nation throughout 2024 singing the title song, along with other original music such as "Rich People" and "Fishin' With You," from her 15 year career.
The message of Blanton's song "After The Revolution" has inspired the Oswego Music Hall, where she will perform on Saturday November 2nd, to host an Art Competition for works that interpret or are inspired by the song.
The Competition entries will be judged by Carsie Blanton, and the winner will receive free tickets to the show, a signed CD and the bragging rights that winning such a prestigious Competition will bring.
Those interested in submitting an entry should scan the QR code in the photo that appears with this article to view the rules and deadline.
The Oswego Music Hall is located inside the McCrobie Civic Center at 41 Lake Street in Oswego. For tickets and information about the Carsie Blanton show or other upcoming performances, you can visit their website at www.oswegomusichall.org.
