The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center would like to announce a Nature Stroll, happening Monday afternoon, March 30, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

As the daylight hours grow longer, changes start to occur in the woods and wetlands. The plants are getting ready to begin their growing season, migratory birds are returning, and some animals are ending their hibernation. What will we see and hear as spring gets underway?

Participants will begin indoors before gearing up for the stroll. They will get to learn about some different signs of spring to be on the lookout for out on the trail. Once outside, participants will set out on a guided exploration through the woods, culminating at the pond overlook. Along the way, there will be pauses to discuss some of the many clues that spring is here.

This program offers a unique opportunity to discover some of what’s going on in the world outside our door as we transition from winter to spring. The program fee is $4 per person and up to $12 per family. Advanced registration is encouraged, as space is limited. This program is designed for individuals or families, not organized groups. To arrange a group program, call the Oswego County 4-H Program at (315)963-7286.
