Lorraine Marie Woods, 60, a resident of Oswego passed away on August 18, 2024, at St. Joseph's in Syracuse with her family by her side.

Louise Rose Cloonan, 93, died at Oswego Hospital on August 17, 2024, after a brief illness, with her family by her side. She had been residing at St. Lukes Nursing Home for several years prior.
She was born in Oswego on May 15, 1931, to George and Rose (Hoffman) Schmidt of Cherry Street.
She married John "Jack" Cloonan in 1958. They lived in Scriba
.She was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Cloonan; her sister Mary Schmidt; and her brother George Schmidt.
She is survived by her son John (Deb) Cloonan of Scriba, niece Sharon Schmidt of CT; nephew George "Joey" Schmidt of CT; a great niece, Lauren Remillard and two great-nephews, Ernest Remillard, and Edward Schmidt.
She worked a number of jobs in her lifetime including at Nestles, Grant's Department Store, and as an LPN at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She particularly enjoyed working in the cafeteria at Minetto Elementary School, from which she retired in 1995.
She was a long-time bowler, and was inducted into the Oswego Bowling Hall of Fame.
She was a member of the Oswego VFW and American Legion.
She loved her pets, playing cards, bunco and many other games, and going to the Turning Stone Casino to play the slot machines.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Friday, at Grace Lutheran Church, 201 East 6th Street in Oswego. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace Lutheran Church.

Peter L. Parr, 68, a resident of Oswego, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Morningstar Care Center.
