Two more victories came for the Oswego modified blue volleyball team with wins over Baldwinsville and Central Square.

The Bucs won 25-10, 25-15 and 15-18 before closing the five game set with scores of 25-16 and 25-6.

Coach Ted Beers said, "We came out serving and playing fast, we have had some discussions going into this week we needed to speed our game up as soon as the first whistle was blown. The girls responded very well to that call. Everyone made contributions during the match and we know we needed some momentum tonight to bring us into the Central Square gym the next day."

Mari Atkinson had a kill and 11 aces while Emily Purce had 10 aces.  Clara Culeton had two kills, five aces and two digs while Meg Durval had four aces and a dig. Jessica Godden finished with three aces while Eleanor Lisec had an ace and two assists. Claire Ratzlaff had a kill, ace and assist while MacKenzie Rice and Abby Roy and four and three aces respectively.

Oswego won the first game against Central Square 28-26 and then gained a 25-23 win in the second. CS captured the third 25-16 while Oswego came back 25-12 to win the fourth. In the fifth game the Redhawks won 25-14.

Beers said, "Before the match began we discussed how important it would be to keep our serves in play as well as how important it would be for us to keep our feet moving and at the same time make the other team move more. We did what we needed to throughout the match. There were some tight sets we had and a lot of back and forth volleyball with some really well played rallies by both teams, and in the end we prevailed because our girls worked really hard and stuck to the game plan. We go on the road next week for our final 2 matches of the season and we look to finish out strong for the season."
