Oswego Bookmobile is recognizing the generosity of its recent donors.
These contributions play a vital role in supporting literacy initiatives for young readers in Oswego County and the expansion efforts coming this summer.
The Oswego City/County Youth Bureau provided a significant reimbursement of $4,000 in support of the Bookmobile’s 2024 summer programming. “The Oswego City/County Youth Bureau’s generous contribution demonstrates their investment in the future of our community's children,” said Matt McCrobie, vice president of Oswego Bookmobile.
As the Bookmobile prepares its 2025 summer programming, the following contributions will allow the program to run five days a week and be able to service Fulton, Hannibal, Mexico and Pulaski for the first time:
-Church of the Resurrection, $750
-James V. Tesoriero Charitable Fund, $500
-Stewart Foundation, $500
-Fajita Grill, $327.86
-Texas Roadhouse, $105
“We are thankful for this support, which enables us to promote literacy and inspire a love of learning in the community by providing free books and STEAM activities to young readers throughout Oswego County,” said Susan McBrearty, president of Oswego Bookmobile.
