Write a commentThe auditions are scheduled for Friday June 17 from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. and Monday June 20 also from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the New Haven Congregational Church located on Route 104 East between Oswego and Mexico.
“Charlotte’s Web” is a classic children’s story written by E.B. White and adapted for stage by Joseph Robinette. It tells the tale of an extraordinary spider named Charlotte who saves a pig named Wilber with the miracle of her web.
Participation in this production is open to all area youth. Those auditioning should be prepared to recite a short monologue, such as nursery rhyme. Those auditioning may also be asked to read from the script. The play requires a large cast with many individual roles available.
Gary Smith and Tom Nunez will direct this production, which is slated to be performed the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August at the Church.
