The Oswego County Traffic Safety Board is proud to partner with the City of Oswego and Oswego City Schools to promote National Walk to School Day.
We have various agencies participate in help walking groups of students to school throughout the city of Oswego.
This year, we have the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board, Mayor Billy Barlow, Police Chief Decaire, Fire Chief Griffin, Oswego Police, Oswego County Sheriff's Office, Oswego City Fire, Oswego County Ambulance, Oswego City School District Teachers and Administrators, Oswego County Health Department, Integrated Community Planning of Oswego County and possibly Oswego Health and U.S Coast Guard Station Oswego.
This event is to promote being healthy while walking and teaching about pedestrian safety to school kids in our community. This event will take place on October 2nd from 8:30am until the beginning of school.
