More than 2,000 children in Oswego County will receive donated Christmas gifts this year, thanks to the Oswego County Children's Fund Inc. and many volunteers and local organizations. The Oswego County Children's Fund, Inc. was developed by combining efforts of the Children's Fund program developed at the Department of Social Services, the Catholic Charities Christmas giveaway program, and the United Way. On Saturday, Dec. 14, starting at 8:30 a.m., more than 630 families arrived to pick from thousands of toys for their children.
