Oswego County OFA Announces February Community Hours

Write a comment

The staff of the Oswego County Office for the Aging (OFA) and NY Connects will visit several communities around the county throughout February to offer program information and assistance with applications.

“We have been working with our community partners for many years to provide ‘office hours’ in various locations, making information and assistance more accessible to Oswego County residents,” said OFA Director Sara Sunday. “These opportunities are even more important now that our Oswego office is temporarily relocated for renovations and we have shifted to remote appointments only. For anyone seeking in-person assistance from our staff, we highly recommend they attend one of these community office hours.”

Those interested in making an appointment should call the Office for the Aging weekdays at 315-349-3484.

Community office hours will be held at the following location, dates and times:

  • Hannibal Public Library, 162 Oswego St.; Thursday, Feb. 8 and 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Phoenix Library, 34 Elm St.; Friday, Feb. 9 and 23 from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St.; Tuesday, Feb. 13 and 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Fulton Public Library, 160 S. First St.; Wednesday, Feb. 14 and 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Mexico Public Library, 3269 Main St.; Thursday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Amboy Town Hall, 822 NYS Rte. 69, Williamstown; Friday, Feb. 23 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Parish Town Hall, 2938 E. Main St.; Monday, Feb. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon.
