Write a commentThe Oswego Fire Department has announced the schedule of upcoming class offereings for EMT and CCT training.
EMT Original Training is scheduled to be held from August 24, 2015 thru January 21, 2016 on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Some Saturdays will also be required. The classes will be held at the Oswego Fire Department East Side Fire Station. The tuition for the course is $775.00 if not affiliated with an EMS agenct. Text book to be used is AAOS Emergency Care & Transport of the Sick & Injured, 10th Edition. The lead instructor of this course is OFD Paramedic, Carl Emmons.
EMT Critical Care Technician Training is scheduled to be held from August 25, 2015 thru August 18, 2016 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Some Saturdays will also be required. The classes will be held at the Oswego Fire Department East Side Fire Station. The tuition for the course is $1925.00 if not affiliated with an EMS agenct and $625.00 is affiliated. Text book to be used is AAOS Nancy Caroline's "Emergency Care in the Streets", 7th Edition. The lead instructor of this course is OFD Paramedic, David Engle.
The Oswego Fire Department also teaches CPR / AED, and First Aid Courses on request.
