Christmas shopping started a bit early again this year for Oswego Fire Department Lt. Brooks Hourigan. During the month of November, the Oswego Firefighters pooled nearly $1,600 this year for the Toys for Tots program.
Last week, Lt. Hourigan, his son Hunter, daughter Beverley, and family friend Noah Pryor went shopping with that money and filled 3 carts with toys!
Santa and the toys were delivered via firetruck to the Light Up Oswego "Toys for Tots" event on Saturday.
Helping deliver the toys to the event were Firefighter Paul Natoli, Lt. Hourigan, Hunter Hourigan, Spot the Pedestrian Safety Dog, and Firefighter Damen Morrell.
