Oswego Middle School students are shown pictured in their decorated hallways during the First Annual Holiday Open House held recently at the school for family and friends.
Students decorated their respective classroom wings and lockers with Christmas themes and decorations for family members to tour and enjoy.
Admission to the event was one canned good or non-perishable food item to support the Oswego Middle School student council’s food drive. The donations were then provided to Oswego Human Concerns and the school's "Backpack Program" for families in need during the holiday.
According to Principal Mary Beth Fierro, backpacks are filled with a variety of food items and personal hygiene products and then distributed to families in need during the holidays.
The Holiday Open House certainly served as a family-fun activity, joining families together.
Student Nicole DelConte and her mother Heather are shown pictured right with food items that were donated during the school’s Holiday Open House.
