Oswego Players to present “The Best Man” in April

The Oswego Players are continuing the celebration of their 75th season with Gore Vidal's explosive political drama, "The Best Man." Bobby Fontana, who has staged such classics as "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest," and "To Kill a Mockingbird" will direct.

This politically charged show covers the back-stabbing world of campaigning with bright verbal fire. Vidal's script is dynamic – witty, sharp and relevant. With the election newly behind us, this show will be a great way to beat the winter doldrums.
Cast members include Nick Pike, Beverly Murtha, Kyle Walton, Amy Price, Sara Sheffield, Aaron Londraville and Jacob Luria. Also, Norman Berlin, III, Kevina Schleicher, Spring Pigeon, Michael Moss, Heather Steel, Shane Craig and Tammy Wilkinson.
Production dates are 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 12,13 and 19, 20; and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 21.
Tickets are $10/adults, $8/seniors and $7/students. Tickets will soon be available at the Players' Box Office, 315-343-5138.
