This blood drive is in honor of those lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks, and is also being held in observation of National Preparedness Month, a nationwide effort sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security each September to raise public awareness about the importance of preparing for all types of disasters and to encourage Americans to take action.

Blood donation event will take place on Friday, September 11th, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at St. Joseph's Church Hall, 240 West First Street, Oswego.

Please sign-up for your appointment time today by either contacting Carly Wells, calling the Oswego Fire Department 343-2161, the Oswego Police Department 342-8124 or by visiting www.redcrossblood.org and search for our drive.
