Rotarian Dave Granoff was honored by The Oswego Club as its "Rotarian of the Year" at their June 4 weekly meeting at The American Foundry.
David, an eight-year member of the club, is past president and current chair of the Oswego Rotary Foundation and a member of various leadership committees at the club and District 7150 level. He serves as webmaster for both the club's own website and e-Bulletin newsletter, The Axle, and is an IT consultant for the District as well.
Under Granoff's leadership, the Oswego Club recently received recognition by Rotary International for their 100 percent member contribution to the Rotary International (RI) Foundation in 2012-13 (Every Rotarian, Every Year Designation). Contributions are used by RI and the district to support humanitarian causes including the global eradication of polio, clean water projects, scholarships, and local community projects.
