An overnight fire in the City of Oswego caused major damage to Cheap Seats Bar & Grille, located at 6 Hillside Avenue.

The Oswego Fire Department was notified of a Fire Alarm Activation at 3:10am. The Oswego Fire Department arrived shortly after and reported smoke showing and a working fire in the rear of the structure.

The first and second alarm assignments were filled, bringing in additional resources to the scene to assist. Oswego Firefighters operated multiple handlines inside the structure to extinguish the large volume of fire. The Fulton Fire Department handled RIT duties at the scene. Firefighters from the Oswego Town VFD and the Minetto VFD also assisted at the scene.

Due to the difficult fire conditions and with all hands working at the fire scene, the third alarm assignment was filled, bringing in additional resources to cover the City of Oswego and surrounding areas for other emergencies. Fire Suppression and overhaul efforts were completed by 6am, and mutual aid companies were released shortly after.
