Write a commentActor and comedian, Owen Benjamin is coming home to Oswego May 21st to perform at the American Foundry. Benjamin is “Pumped!” to be coming home to Oswego to visit friends and family.
Recently, Benjamin posted a video on youtube and made a Facebook status on his Facebook page about life in Oswego. To date, the video on Youtube has been viewed 16,587 times. His Facebook status has been shared 497 times, has 687 likes, and has over 70 comments.
Benjamin stated: "When I saw how many people related to the video about Oswego I knew I had to come do a show." What made Benjamin excited about the response from the skit on Oswego was not the views or the likes he received but the comments. Benjamin said: "It was great to hear from so many people about how they had a similar CNY experience as me."
Since his last visit, Benjamin has started a family. Benjamin said: "Since the last time I was back I've gotten married, had a baby, and stopped sleeping...because of the baby." Benjamin confessed that he's accomplished being able to function on three hours of sleep a night.
