Born in Syracuse, he was the son of Patrick M. and Lisa (Miceli) Schrader.
Patrick had Friedreich's Ataxia. Despite his condition, he was an active member at Stability Fitness. A special thanks to his trainer Zack Daniels and to Chrissy Mason who helped him be strong and to smile. Patrick loved tattoos, was an avid movie fan and enjoyed screenwriting.
Surviving are one sister, Vanessa Schrader of Virginia and her fiancé Andrew Sha; grandmother, Joan Miceli of Oswego; several aunts and uncles, Lorraine Schrader, Nancy Schrader, Margaret (Larry) Roland, Anne (Michael) Batchelor, Charles (Mari) Miceli, Kathy (Mike) Turrin, Tommy (Cathy) Miceli, and Bart (Kris) Miceli and many cousins including, Melissa and John, Michelle and Mike, John and Stephanie, Allison and Brianna, Matthew, Jennifer and Jeff, Lucas and Morgan, Grace and Gianni, Ashley and Jay, Andrea, Laura and Pat, Jake and Jessie, Joe, Stasha and Carmelo.
Patrick was predeceased by his grandfather, Bart Miceli, and grandparents, Pat and Sally Schrader, as well as aunt and uncle, MaryBeth and Andy Clark, and cousins Harry and Jack Clark.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 1-4 at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street with services to follow at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
