Paul J. Nickolas, 47, a resident of Scriba, passed away Thursday, in Syracuse.
Paul was born in Oswego, the son of Gloria (Barnes) Nickolas, and the late William Nickolas. He was a life resident of the area.
He had been employed as a boilermaker in Oswego with Boilermakers Local #5.
Paul loved motorcycles and travelling. He was a member of the MOPAR Club.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria of Scriba; 2 sons, Christopher (Carissa) Losurdo of Scriba, and Gavin Nickolas of Scriba; a daughter, Katy Nickolas of Scriba; a brother, Daniel (Jennifer) Nickolas of Scriba; two sisters, Billie Nickolas of Scriba, and Tracy (Michael) Fragale of New Mexico; the mother of his children Gavin and Katy, Heather Nickolas of Scriba; a grandson, Cooper Losurdo of Scriba; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paul is also survived by many lifetime friends, including Bobby Sawyer, Mike Twiss, Mark Enos, David Enos, Rodney Sprague, Greg Loughton, Robert Brown, and Randy Mentor.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm Wednesday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
