His love of music and playing the bass guitar throughout his life was one of his greatest accomplishments.

He received an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology and was hired at the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant as an Instrumentation & Control Technician where he remained until he retired in 2015.
Paul was preceded in death by both of his parents, John and Barbara Heagerty.

The family would like to thank both the Florida Cancer Research Institute and the Upstate Oncology Team in Oswego, NY for the excellent care they gave to Paul.
A celebration of life will be held in his hometown of Oswego, NY at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
