LeChase Construction began repairs on the interior turrets of the Oswego Public Library Monday, July 20th. Repairs will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.
Please do not enter the area blocked off in front of the library or along the upper portion of the library’s sidewalk located on the south side of the building while construction is under way. The library has moved its book drop to the East Oneida Street entrance for patrons who need to return items when the library is closed.
Patrons should enter the library through the East Oneida Street entrance located on the south side of the building. We encourage everyone to come up the sidewalk from East 1st Street or use the sidewalk leading from East 2nd to East 1st Street next to the lawyer’s office and cross the grass.
We want to thank all the city and state agencies that have worked together with us to help make possible the necessary repairs to our library. We want to thank all our patrons for your patience. Please contact the library at 341-5867 if you have a hardship in using the side entrance.
