Richard C. Treasure Sr., 85, a resident of 4 Kennedy Avenue, in Oswego, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Syracuse.
Mr. Treasure was born in Ossining and was a son of the late Arthur and Ella (Allen) Treasure. He had lived in Oswego County for many years.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 268; and the VFW Post 5885.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Nestlé's Corp., in Fulton.
He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, in Oswego.
He is survived by six children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara; and his loving companion, Amber.
Funeral services will be private.
Calling hours will be held from 3-5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., in Oswego.
Following calling hours, friends are invited to a reception at the American Legion Post 268, in Oswego.
