He was born in Parish,NY he was a son of late Harold and Hazel Johnson.
He worked at Millers Brewery in Fulton, NY and volunteered for The Salvation Army Red Kettle for many years. He was a member of The Aurburn Salvation Army. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and his genuine love for people.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer (David) Hahn, Jessica (Robert) Griffin, Laura (Terry) Fredericks, Lisa (Matthew) Bollinger, stepson Michael (Courtney) LaFave, by his thirteen grandchildren and by his beloved dog Gizmo.
He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Hazel Johnson, his sister Marion Hollenbeck, his brother Francis Johnson and his daughter MaryBeth Glasby.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 9th 2024 at 1 PM from Harter Funeral Home 2983 West Main Street Parish, NY 13131, burial to follow at Pleasant Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 12 PM – 1 PM prior to the service. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home Parish NY.
