Born in Fulton N.Y., He was the son of Eleanor (Watkins) Hartka and the late Vance Moore and was a graduate of the Mexico Academy.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved to cook and especially enjoyed to BBQ.
Surviving besides his mother are two sisters, Dorothy Ginn and Melissa Moore, nephews, Caleb, Kyle, Steven, and Joshua, nieces, Amanda, Sherri, and Shannon.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are in the care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
