Robert F. Stacy, 64, a resident of 172 West Seneca St., passed away Saturday morning at his home surrounded by his family.

Robert was born in Oswego, the son of the late Barbara A. Gorman Ramos and the late Francis Stacy. He was a lifelong resident.

Mr. Stacy recently retired from Oswego State University after over 25 years of employment. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a longtime member of The Oswego Moose Lodge, where he often tended bar.

Robert is survived by his son Christopher E. Himes of Fulton, his brother Daniel W. Stacy of Oswego, his stepfather Tomas G. Ramos of Oswego, his aunts and uncles, David (Joe) W. (Ann) Gorman of Oswego, Nancy M. Wheeler of Tennessee, Ted E. Gorman of Oswego, Mary M. Bowen of Elbridge, and Anne W. (Harry) Mills of Oswego, as well as many cousins, including Kerri E. (Mills) Parker of Oswego, who was very special to him.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, William E. and Wanda E. (Kitney) Gorman of Oswego, his aunt Jeanne A. Gorman of Florida, his uncle Robert H. Stacy of Chula Vista, California, and his cousins Jeffrey L. Wheeler of Tennessee and Carly J. Griffith of Florida.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 26, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home from 4-7 PM with a service to follow at 7 PM. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
