Write a commentRobert Weigelt, 57, of Red Creek, passed away October 31, 2015 at Blossom View Nursing Home, Sodus.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Robert and Anita (Saeli) Weigelt.
He worked for National Grid as a Gas Mechanic for more than 24 years.
He also was a car mechanic and enjoyed antique cars, the Oswego Speedway and NASCAR. He was a member of the Son’s of American Legion and the All Chevy Club.
Surviving are his wife, Michele (DeRycke) Weigelt; three daughters, Jessica (James Stanski) DeRycke of Fulton; Rachel (Zack MacMallin) Weigelt of Washington State; Anita (Devin) Connor of Puttneyville, NY; a son John Weigelt of Red Creek; a granddaughter Miranda Stanski; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Barbara Weigelt.
Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 3-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
