Write a commentRoger H. Griffin, 88, of Hannibal died Saturday February 21, 2026 in St. Joseph Hospital, Syracuse, after a short illness.
Mr. Griffin was born in the town of Moira, NY the son of the late Harold and Grace (LaValley) Griffin.
He was retired form SUNY Oswego as the maintenance supervisor, after many years. He enjoyed working with his hands doing carpentry, and keeping his yard looking nice. He also enjoyed hunting and going to Fair Haven.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his children Beth (Bill) Widrick of Turin; Michelle Shutts of Hannibal; Carmen Griffin of Hannibal; Brian Griffin of Cazenovia; his brother Phillip (Gloria) Griffin of Arizona, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Bradley Griffin, brother Raymond Griffin, and sister Yvonne Bassett.
In accordance with Mr. Griffin’s wishes there will be no services.
Arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY.
