On Saturday, September 28, Salt City will host a spectacular night of competition featuring visiting skaters from all over NY, as well as guests from out-of-state. The games will take place at the Fulton Community Ice Arena. Doors open at 3 p.m., with the first game starting at 4 p.m.
This double header will kick off with a long-awaited rematch between Salt City Roller Derby and Dirty Jersey Roller Derby, visiting from NJ. Don’t miss the fierce clash of spirit, teamwork, and strategy as these teams make their final push of the season.
Right after the first game, skaters will compete in a beginner level game.This competition will feature a mix of skaters from Salt City, some from local NY leagues, and those visiting from all over the Northeast. Cheer them on with the crowd as this will be a momentous debut game for some!
Of course, it wouldn't be a derby event without some off-track fun! Enjoy an intermission with interactive activities, and throughout the evening savor delicious concessions, refreshing beverages, and unique merchandise from local vendors. There will also be opportunities to meet the athletes and learn more about roller derby. Fans of all ages are welcome to this event to help us close out the season with a bang!
