Rose M. Pryor, 92, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at Seneca Hill Manor in Volney.
Rose was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Zammarelli) Blanco. She was a life resident.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed, for 27 years, as a crossing guard for the Oswego City School District. She had previously worked for the General Electric Co. in Liverpool.
She was the wife of the late Jack T. Pryor, Sr., who died in 1991.
Rose is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Edmund) Wisniewicz of Oswego, and Judith (Steven Bradish) Seinoski of Oswego; two sons, Jack (Margaret) Pryor Jr. of Oswego, and David Pryor of Oswego; a sister, Ramona Menter of Conneaut, Ohio; nine grandchildren, James (Lydia) Solazzo, Josh (Jennifer) Pryor, Scott (Jennifer) Seinoski, Stephanie (Jerry) Recor, Joseph (Kelly) Seinoski, Jonathan (Lara) Pryor, Hunter Pryor, Noah Pryor, and Emma Pryor; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Blanco.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6:00.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
