Write a commentRose P. Deming, 87, a resident of Oswego passed away on April 20 at the St.Luke Health Services.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Cecilia (Reynolds) Davis and had attended Oswego schools. She was employed with Loblaws and later retired from the Auxiliary services at the State University of Oswego. She enjoyed camping at Brennan Beach and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Maureen (Mark) Polky of Oswego, two sons, Robert(Cindy) Deming of Oswego, James (Mary) Deming of Oswego, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Deming in 2001, a sister, Katherine and four brothers, Bob, Curt, Butch and John.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 from St.Mary's Church.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00- 5:00.
