A lifelong Oswegonian, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mary (Popielarz) Alfiere.
Rosemary worked as a supervisor for NY Telephone Company. After reaching 25 years of service, she became a member of the NY Telephone Company Pioneers. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Elks 271. She loved gardening, and enjoyed trips to the Turning Stone. Above all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Surviving are her loving husband of 35 years, Richard L. Yule; her daughter, Patricia (Tim) Dixon of Oswego; son, Richard (Laurie) Yule of Oswego; sister, Theresa (Bob) Farrell, of Oswego; sister in law, Azelyn Alfiere of Camillus; four grandchildren, Robert (Amanda) Dixon, Eric (Stephanie) Dixon and Allison and Trenton Yule; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was was predeceased by her brother, Emanuel Alfiere and her granddaughter, Tory Yule.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 21st from 2-5 PM with a Funeral Service Wednesday 10AM, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
Rosemary had a heart of gold and was a loving, kind and giving person. To remember her in a special way, please do something kind for someone else.
