Write a commentRosemond M. Lamb, 80, a resident of Volney passed away on September 27, 2025 at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Hannibal, She was the daughter of the late Newton and Elmetta (Wallace) VanBuren and was a graduate of the Hannibal High School, Class of 1964.
She became the owner of the Bookercellar in Fulton in July 1980. She was also the owner of Foster's which became R's Places until she retired in 1995.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her four children, daughter, Rowbecca (Adam) Searor, sons Richard (Tammy) Lamb, Randey (Jean) Lamb, Robert (Terry) Lamb, two brothers Mike (Rita) VanBuren, Jim (Ann) Bogardus, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard G. Lamb Sr. in 1997.
Per her wishes there will be a celebration of life in the future.
