Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Canavan) Richards.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis Alexander Crowley in 2004. She was active with her husband’s real estate business.
She enjoyed cooking, volunteering, singing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy (Glenn) Vatter of Pompey, NY; Jean (Jim) Haferd of Reno, NV; Eileen Banning of Columbus, OH; two sons, Denis (Rita) Crowley of Pulaski, NY; John (Karen) Crowley of Lansing, Michigan; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego for their wonderful care.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Lillian Cotter and Dorothy Martin.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Church, Castle Hayne, N.C. Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 6-8p.m. Friday at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market St. Wilmington, NC 28401.
