Samuel Ambrosetti, 92, died March 19, 2015 in Goffstown, New Hampshire.
Born in Oswego, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Maria (Molinari) Ambrosetti. He was an U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1944-1946. He worked construction for the Local 58. Sam was an avid fisherman. He started golfing later in life, which he enjoyed very much.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Grieve Ambrosetti; his daughters, Jeanne (Gary) Hibbert and Deborah (Daniel) Kendall; two grandsons, Craig (Beth) Stevens and Sean (Missy) Stevens; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Sarah and Amelia Stevens and step-great-grandson, Jesse Hauser; two stepsons, Daniel (Christine) Grieve and Thomas (Patricia) Grieve; two step-granddaughters, Sarah (V.J.) Soucy and Stephanie Grieve; a step-great-grandson Liam Soucy; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Buske, an infant son, Thomas and a brother, Joseph Ambrosetti.
Calling hours will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Church, 240 West First St. Oswego. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
